REV Renewables’ employees, assets, and capabilities build upon the legacy of LS Power, a company with more than three decades of investment, innovation, and development experience in the U.S. power and energy infrastructure industries.
Founded in 1990, LS Power is a development, investment and operating company focused on the power and energy infrastructure sector. LS Power has long been at the forefront of America’s energy system and is especially proud of its track record in sustainability and decarbonization. Since its inception, LS Power has developed, constructed, managed, or acquired more than 50,000 MW of power generation, including utility-scale solar, wind, hydro, natural gas-fired, and battery energy storage projects. Through LS Power Grid, it has developed more than 780 miles of high voltage transmission and operates 7 transmission utilities.
Additionally, LS Power actively invests in distributed energy resources and other energy expansion platforms, such as CPower Energy, Clearlight Energy, EVgo and Rise Light & Power, as well as renewable fuels. Across its efforts, LS Power has raised in excess of $72 billion in debt and equity financing to support North American infrastructure.
